The do that did me in
The hair that convinced me to stop coloring my own. My thanks to the stage artist who put this artful streak in Stafford Dean's exquisite hair, the hair that made me want to, um, hear more.
What's it like to be a midwestern American female at age 50? Let's find out together!
I'm perfectly normal in many respects. I am my second husband's third wife. Our child is younger than most children of 50 year-old mothers. We work, we scrape, we worry.
And I'm wondering what 50 will bring, in addition to swollen ankles.
Insight? wisdom? yuks? or yucks?
My goal is to post from time to time for a year, beginning on my 50th birthday.
All's I know is this: we've got to be strong. In every way.
